FAQ & Support
Practical answers before you choose a package or submit intake materials.
This page clarifies how Pathform handles service packages, post-purchase intake, files and references, payment and scope, and communication at the current stage of the service.
Clear steps for concept-stage garment development—not a generic ecommerce help center.
View common questionsStarting a Project
Purchase a service package first, then submit intake materials.
Pathform is built for concept-stage apparel ideas that move through a Shopify-first service package flow before development work begins.
Do I need to buy a Shopify service package before submitting the intake form?
Yes. The intake form is used after purchase to submit project materials and order details.
What is a Draftpath Feasibility Brief?
It is the first-stage review included in Pathform service packages.
What happens if I choose the wrong complexity band?
Pathform may recommend simplification, upgrade, or a Pathform Service Supplement before later stages continue.
Are formal production orders handled through Shopify?
No. Formal small-batch or bulk production is handled separately through business quotation, agreement, and bank payment.
Is One-of-One Garment Realization the same as bespoke tailoring?
No. It is a concept-to-garment realization service for one submitted idea and one final physical piece.
What can I submit after purchase?
You can submit sketches, hand drawings, AI visuals, reference garments, mood references, and notes on category, fit intent, material, or intended use. You do not need a complete tech pack to submit intake materials.
Do I need a finished tech pack first?
No. A finished tech pack is not required. Pathform reviews what you provide through the post-purchase intake form and clarifies what additional technical input may be needed after the Draftpath Feasibility Brief.
What happens after I submit the project intake form?
Submission starts the review process for your purchased package. Pathform assesses feasibility and development needs against the purchased scope and selected complexity band, then responds with next steps. Development work does not begin automatically from submission alone.
Files, References & AI Visuals
Submit what you have; understand how references are used.
Clear files and notes help Pathform assess your concept efficiently. This section covers practical file expectations—not legal policy.
How are AI visuals and reference images used?
They are used as development references to understand design intent, category, and feasibility. They are not treated as factory-ready specifications. Pathform interprets them alongside garment-development judgment.
What file quality or detail should I provide?
Provide readable images and enough context to understand the garment idea—category, intended use, fit priorities, and any known material or construction preferences. Higher clarity reduces back-and-forth during review.
Who owns the concept materials I submit?
You retain ownership of your concept materials. Pathform uses what you submit to conduct review and, if work proceeds, to scope agreed development tasks. Formal terms for commissioned work are confirmed when scope is defined.
What does Pathform not guarantee from submission alone?
Submitting materials does not guarantee project acceptance, pattern delivery, sample production, or manufacturing outcomes. Those depend on feasibility, scope confirmation, and the service type involved.
Payment, Scope & Service Flow
Service packages are purchased on Shopify before intake submission.
Pathform uses a Shopify-first service flow: choose a package and complexity band, purchase through Shopify, then submit project materials through the post-purchase intake form.
Is all Pathform work paid through Shopify?
Pathform service packages are purchased through Shopify. Formal small-batch or bulk production is handled separately through business quotation, agreement, and bank payment after technical confirmation where appropriate.
When is pricing confirmed?
Service package pricing and complexity band selection are confirmed at Shopify checkout. If later scope exceeds the selected band or included package scope, Pathform may recommend simplification, upgrade, or a Pathform Service Supplement.
Does work start automatically after I submit the intake form?
No. Form submission starts the review process for your purchased package. Pathform evaluates your materials and responds with next steps. Pattern work, sampling, or production-related work begins only after review against the purchased scope.
Are all projects accepted?
No. Pathform assesses feasibility, development fit, and whether the concept is appropriate for the purchased service package and complexity band. You will receive a clear response if more input is needed or if the project should not proceed in its current form.
Delivery, Progress & Communication
Direct communication and confirmed scope—not an automated project portal.
Pathform keeps the current model clear: purchased package review, agreed next steps, and direct follow-up as work is scoped.
How does Pathform communicate after intake or confirmed service engagement?
Pathform communicates project updates directly by email or an agreed channel. You receive professional follow-up on review outcomes, information requests, scope direction, and next steps.
Is there a client dashboard or real-time progress tracking?
At the current stage, Pathform does not offer a client account portal or real-time project dashboard. More advanced account and project-tracking features may be introduced later as the service system develops.
What does Tally handle today?
Tally is the post-purchase Pathform Project Intake form. It collects project materials, Shopify order details, and package information after a Pathform service package has been purchased. Pathform handles review and follow-up separately from the form itself.
